About the job
As an Accounting Associate, you will support the Company’s accounting records, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and contributing to accurate financial reporting and tax submissions. The role supports reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
What you will be doing
Support the drafting of the Company’s accounting plan by defining and linking accounts to ensure accurate financial management
Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, investment accounts, and other financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and update the Company’s accounting plan, defining and linking accounts to ensure accurate and efficient financial management
Monitor changes in International Financial Reporting Standards and other relevant financial regulations to ensure compliance in reporting and disclosures
Perform daily reconciliations between XRHMA and accounting books, following up on discrepancies with the back office for resolution
Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements
Gather and prepare data and documentation for auditors during financial audits and support the preparation of periodic financial statements
Support the monitoring of compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies by assisting with internal audits and financial transaction reviews

What you need to have
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred)
Up to three (3) years of professional experience in Accounting or in a Finance Department
Strong understanding of accounting and reconciliation processes, financial accounting principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting processes
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to support financial analysis and compliance
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills when handling financial data and reporting
