About the job

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise and timely execution of all payroll-related processes (monthly, ad-hoc, bonus) across the organization. You will also support the creation and submission of payroll reports and accounting/tax articles in accordance with legal and tax frameworks, as well as management requests.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Handling the accurate and timely execution of all payroll processes (monthly, ad-hoc, bonus) for the whole organization.

  • Ensuring compliance with labor and tax authorities while executing payroll procedures.

  • Calculating monthly payroll based on updated employee and HRMS data, including absenteeism, overtime, shifts, allowance deductions, and end-of-service.

  • Implementing reward policies and practices according to employment contracts, collective agreements, and Allwyn standards.

  • Preparing and submitting records and reports to social security and tax authorities (Tax File, EFKA, TEKA etc.), in compliance with legislation.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries and providing necessary support and clarifications.

  • Participating in payroll system updates and ensure compliance with technical requirements.

  • Preparing payroll cost reports as requested by management and providing necessary clarifications.

  • Collaborating with external and internal tax auditors and controllers, providing necessary information for effective auditing.

  • Staying updated on labor and tax legislation changes.

 

What you need to succeed: 

  • 4+ years of experience in payroll

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR Management or relevant field

  • Proficiency in MS Office with an expertise in MS Excel

  • Experience with HR applications (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, HCM, HRSuite or Scan HRMS – EpsilonNet)

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and processes

  • Exposure to HR processes and procedures

  • Very good communication skills in Greek & English

  • Organizational & time management skills
