In Vivechrom SA, leading multinational in Decorative Paints, we 're seeking a talented and passionate Sales Engineer to contibute in our business success in the island of Crete.
The purpose of this role is to be the frontline sales person who is responsible for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the business within the assigned sales area by developing new business and expanding the business with existing customers and construction projects.
Role is based at Chania & Rethymnon, Crete.
Key Accountabilities
Delivering revenue and margin according to budget (including accounts receivable and DSO).
Accurately project sales and project forecasting, reporting and pipeline documentation.
Ensure customer retention & acquisition through profitable and long-lasting partnerships.
Maintain direct contact with customers in the field, representing Vivechrom /AkzoNobel in a professional manner, to deliver customer satisfaction.
Manage customer portfolio and pipeline.
Create partnerships with customers to grow the category and share of wallet proactively.
Drive efficient credit management.
Take ownership of queries and complaints to ensure resolution on behalf of the customer within agreed deadlines.
Level of Autonomy
Works within guidelines of Area Sales Manager
Relatively autonomous
Collaborates with own team and cross functionally with Commercial Ops, Marketing, Local Technical Support, Finance, Supply Chain teams, to enable resolutions over customer issues/demands.
Qualifications /Experience /Skills
Knowledge & Work Experience
Minimum Bachelor Degree in business management or related or Technical field / Masters of Business Administration in related field preferred
Paints and coatings or Construction industry, any B2B industry environment.
5-8 years of work experience in sales roles
