What you'll do
- Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance at photovoltaic plants
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical faults on site
- Check the operation of solar inverters, medium-voltage substations, and electrical equipment
- Perform and support low- and medium-voltage electrical switching operations safely
- Monitor photovoltaic plant performance through SCADA systems and identify deviations
- Coordinate and technically support field work to resolve technical issues effectively
- Provide technical guidance to other technicians and support the development of junior team members
- Plan, monitor, and complete maintenance work with the Technical Coordinator and O&M Manager
- Record technical findings, faults, and maintenance work, and update relevant teams
- Follow health and safety procedures and company operating standards
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Photovoltaic plant operation and maintenance (O&M)
- Low- and medium-voltage electrical installations and medium-voltage electrical switching operations
- Electrical fault diagnosis and repair; solar power inverters; medium-voltage substations
- SCADA systems and photovoltaic plant monitoring
- Preventive and corrective maintenance; electromechanical equipment; technical problem solving
- MS Office; English language; Category B driving licence; Health and safety procedures
- Electrical Engineering
