About the job
There is currently a job opening for “Operations Controller” in the Operational Control Center Department. As an Operations Controller, you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of AEGEAN’s daily flight schedule and handle all Network’s irregular operations. You are a perfect match if you are eager to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment and to participate in optimizing the flight schedule to ensure safe, timely, and efficient flights!
What you will do:
Manage and monitor AEGEAN's network until the commencement of the flight
Continuously upkeep of the daily flight schedule and update the aircraft movement system, in accordance with the current regulations
Develop and manage schedule delivery processes to meet On-Time Performance targets in line with AEGEAN’s commitment to its customers
Take appropriate action for recovery from irregularities
Review and manage aircraft Technical Limitations, for possible impact on operations
Coordinate all matters regarding the operations flow between the Integrated Operations Control Center, Maintenance Control, Station Control and all other departments so as to achieve the optimum performance of the network
Initiate emergency procedures
You fit, if you cover the following requirements:
Professional experience in aviation will be considered an asset
Bachelor’s degree will be considered an asset
Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
Knowledge of MS Office
And you have competence in:
Problem-solving, prioritizing and time management
Being oriented to bringing timely and qualitative results
Solving problems in a creative way, with high attention to detail
Developing collaborative relationships with cross functional teams
