As a Test Engineering Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to designing and developing advanced testing frameworks to drive high automation levels and enhance application testing. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders—including business teams, architects, developers, and DevOps— and you will define and implement automated testing strategies and processes. Your role involves envisioning, estimating, designing, building, and deploying solutions using cutting-edge tools to enhance the quality and stability of client deliverables.                                                                                                                          

Responsibilities:                            

•   Lead a Team of QA Engineers providing technical guidance and professional guidance                           

•   Building and setting up new testing frameworks and tools for microservices based applications                           

•   Collaborate with client stakeholders to develop and implement automation strategies that enhance testing processes                           

•   Analyzing the technology currently being used and develop plans and processes for improvement                           

•   Desing and deliver a state of the art testing pipeline that will cover happy and unhappy paths of the application.         

•   Writing technical documentation describing test automation tools, processes and methodologies   

•   Work closely with application teams on developing the full chain of testing. Unit Testing, Integration Testing, API testing, End-to-End testing.

•   Work on developing and implementing resilience tests, leveraging chaos testing frameworks and GenAI.

•   Develop frameworks and automated pipelines for end-to-end testing on mobile apps, levering device emulators and physical device farms.

Qualifications

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR? 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree              
• Previous working experience as a Test Engineer Lead for (2) years
• Working experience and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and/or Azure
• Great knowledge of application testing frameworks like Junit5, Spock, Test Containers, SmartBear ReadyApi and Testcomplete, Seleniun, Cypress, Playwright, Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, ToxiProxy or similar
• Knowledge and experience with Software Version Control systems: GIT, SVN etc.
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools: jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, AzureDevops
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
