What you'll do
- Review mechanical engineering designs, plans, method statements, materials, and construction procedures for compliance
- Verify construction work aligns with approved design specifications and witness site tests
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design, standards, and safety regulations
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site civil works and project progress
- Manage quality control and assurance for electrical construction and commissioning activities
- Prepare and study Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for mechanical and electrical issues
- Identify and resolve construction or commissioning issues and collaborate on risk mitigation
- Prepare minutes of meetings and keep records of outstanding points
- Ensure electrical construction, testing, and commissioning follow project schedules
- Report actual versus planned construction progress to project management
- Assist in evaluating site progress and certify EPC contractor invoices for mechanical works
- Review and assess contractor claims related to electrical engineering
- Ensure project compliance with regulations and standards
- Review approved documents and final construction versions
- Review commissioning and O&M manuals submitted by contractors
- Evaluate site updates and as-built documents with the engineering team
- Facilitate communication among contractor, engineering team, and site manager
- Oversee electrical aspects of project closeout and facilitate project handover

- Risk Management and Claims Evaluation experience
- Leadership, Communication Skills, Analytical Skills, Document Review, and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Preparation
