What you'll do
- Review civil engineering designs, plans, method statements, ITPS, materials, and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and codes
- Verify construction work aligns with approved design specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections for compliance with design, standards, and safety regulations
- Manage quality control and assurance procedures for civil construction activities
- Identify and address construction issues, conflicts, and discrepancies
- Collaborate with project team to develop solutions and mitigate risks
- Ensure civil construction activities follow the project schedule
- Identify and mitigate risks related to civil engineering and construction
- Assist in evaluating site progress, progress payments, change orders, and claims
- Review and resolve claims and disputes from contractors related to civil engineering
- Stay updated on regulations and standards to ensure project compliance
- Review approved documents and execute final 'For Construction' versions
- Evaluate site updates and contractor's red-marked documents with the engineering team
- Review Non-Conformance Reports and coordinate with engineering team for compliance
- Facilitate communication and coordination among contractor, engineering team, and site manager
- Oversee project closeout for civil aspects ensuring documentation and inspections completion
- Facilitate smooth project handover to the Owner
