About the job

The Institute Support Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation and continuous growth of the Institute of ACS Athens. The position supports the Institute’s mission by coordinating activities, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and maintaining efficient administrative and operational processes.

This role provides comprehensive support across Institute programs, oversees day-to-day operations, and contributes to initiatives that foster innovation, research, and collaboration. The Institute Support Officer also supports project organization, communication flow, and partnership development to enhance the Institute’s overall impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Institute, ensuring the efficient execution of administrative responsibilities across all programs and activities.

  • Maintain records and document processes within the Innovation Lab for internal use and assessment.

  • Coordinate and facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders involved in Institute projects and programs, ensuring clear communication and smooth implementation.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Innovation Lab, ensuring alignment with established protocols and standards.

  • Manage resources within the Innovation Lab, including equipment, supplies, and materials required for projects and experiments.

  • Support the coordination and continuous enhancement of Innovation Lab initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, technology, or innovation management).

  • Demonstrated creativity and comfort with technology.

  • Proven experience in coordinating and facilitating innovation or educational programs.

  • Strong organizational, research, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English, including the ability to clearly communicate the lab’s mission and impact.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders in both languages.

  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges as they arise.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong project coordination and administrative management skills, including scheduling, document management, record keeping, and program support.

  • Proficiency in digital and administrative tools for data management, documentation, and communication coordination.

  • Familiarity with Innovation Lab operations and protocols, including resource organization, equipment tracking, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
