store & warehouse it support engineer (thessaloniki-sindos hq)

As the Store & Warehouse IT Support Engineer, you will provide onsite and remote IT support to our store and warehouse operations. You will ensure all IT infrastructure, including hardware, software and network systems are running efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This is a critical role that supports both frontline retail operations and backend logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in computer systems, networks, and software applications.

What you will focus on

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, printers, and other technology-related hardware.

• Provide support for operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.

• Perform routine maintenance, such as software updates, virus scans, and system backups.

• Assist with network management, including the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Provide technical support to end-users, either remotely or in person, for technical problems and questions.

• Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.

• Assist with setting up and maintaining the company's communication tools (email, VoIP, etc.).

• Assist with IT projects and support the organization’s cybersecurity efforts by identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

• Manage inventory of IT and collaborate with external vendors for hardware and software procurement, as needed.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Azur)

• Good Knowledge of English (both written & spoken)

• Good Knowledge of MS Office

• Driving License (this role requires store visits in the North Greece area)

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in retail would be considered as a plus

• Certification in IT-related fields (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc.) would be considered as a plus

• Experience with Active Directory, server management, and cloud services would be considered as a plus
