What you'll do

Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience

- Budget preparation, forecasting, and financial steering processes
- COGS savings tracking and promo evaluation
- Business case preparation and commercial finance expertise
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, and MS Office
- Fluency in English and compliance with risk and control frameworks

About the job
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and act as sparring partner for departments of responsibility, providing financial management information/guidelines and advice to Commerce Line Managers, supporting them in delivering financial targets.
This role also contributes to the development of budget, outlooks and financial steering processes ans acts as an advisor from financial perspective, translating operational actions into financial performance indicators.
What you will focus on
Be a proactive business partner and provide valuable input in order to be able to steer the business on a daily basis in order to meet the financial targets
Work closely and partner with Commerce Departments’ line managers, to support in developing a financial strategy to improve business performance
Assist in the preparation of annual budget, quarterly forecasts and month end close processes, by working closely with Commerce Directors, providing necessary data and challenging the input and decision making
Be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information per category / product (national and Private Label) and proceed in various analyses of financial indicators (KPIs)
Prepare weekly rolling latest estimates along with the business and steering the business towards achieving the targets
Support Commerce Directors in resolving any concerns on the financial performances of the area of responsibility, understand performance drivers & business trends and provide support in preparing latest estimate projections
Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as required, covering both Finance and Commerce departments’ needs
Ensure the compliance with appropriate processes, policies, and controls according to the Risk and Control framework
Who we are looking for
Working experience of at least 5 years, as a Finance Business Partner/Commercial Finance in a senior role with hands on experience on product category financial analysis, tracking COGS savings, promo evaluation & business case preparation
Ability to analyze and present financial information to senior management
Commercially driven mindset with ability to understand, challenge and inform on investment decisions
Retail/FMCG experience would be considered an asset
BSc in Finance or any relevant field. MSc would be considered an asset
ACCA certification (or other equivalent) would be considered an asset
Experience in SAP, Hyperion, Power BI would be considered an asset
Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
