Job’s Purpose
Enterprise Data Steward helps data users and data consumers to define, segment and describe their data need. This data need is specified on a business metadata level and captured and processed through the Data Catalogue and Business Glossary. The Enterprise Data Steward is key in achieving and maintaining Data quality to the level the business process requires and helps to standardize the data handling related business processes, implement global data related standards and policies and supports the overall improvements of the maturity of the Data governance and Data management process. This role coordinates all data governance roles and provide business and technical consulting as well as coordination meetings like (data governance council, DG steering committee)

What you will focus on:

• Monitor data quality through the Data Quality Dashboard, analyze deviations and/or negative trends, perform root cause analysis, and develop/implement solutions.

• Report to Data Owners on data quality and escalate to the Data Owner in cases where improvements cannot be implemented independently.

• Develop and maintain procedures, data processes, and work instructions.

• Maintain assigned reference tables (relatively static data) and metadata/business rules in the Data Catalog.

• Exchange knowledge within the Data Guild and collaborate with other Data Stewards in subject-matter expert groups.

• Design or adjust business processes and translate them into functional designs when systems are impacted.

• Discuss specific approaches and solutions to problems with the supervisor.

• Coordinate with Data Architecture, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence departments.

What you have

• Bachelor's degree (e.g., Computer Science, IT Management, or Business Information Science).

• At least one year of relevant experience in a similar Data Governance position.

• Strong project management skills (small projects or PMO experience )

• Experience in international environments with complex governance is considered valuable.

• Fluency in both Greek and English is required.
