What Defines us

Aristotle S. Onassis initially based his shipping enterprise in New York. Then, in 1952, he established Olympic Maritime in Paris in order to manage his shipping assets from Europe. In 1953, Olympic transferred its offices in to Monte Carlo, where it remained until 1977. In 1990, Olympic Maritime was renamed Olympic Shipping and Management S.A. Since 1997, its head office has been in Paleo Phaleron, Athens, from where it acts as principal agent of the fleet. Currently the fleet comprises of 18 crude oil tankers and the technical management has been assigned to Springfield Shipping Co. Panama S.A.
