Amoh offers a unique working environment for professionals eager to grow and contribute to delivering exceptional high-standard experiences.&nbsp;Become part of the Amoh Rhodes team.We seek a talented individual to lead the Finance Department of the Hotel.The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations within the Hotel. This includes overseeing accounting tasks such as financial reporting, day-to-day accounting entries, assessment vs budget and ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations.Key Responsibilities:<ol type="1"><li>Financial Reporting:<ul><li>Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li><li>Reconcile daily expenditures and bank transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.</li></ul></li><li>Budgeting and Forecasting:<ul><li>Assist in preparing the annual budget and financial forecasts.</li><li>Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and identify variances.</li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding financial performance and cost control.</li></ul></li><li>Audit and Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with hotel policies and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).</li><li>Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.</li><li>Assist in resolving any audit findings or discrepancies.</li></ul></li></ol>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tax Reporting:o&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare and maintain accurate tax records.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax statements (income tax, VAT, withheld taxes, etc.)&nbsp;o&nbsp;&nbsp; Reconcile accounting records with MyData.o&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure company compliance with all tax regulations.&nbsp;Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</li><li>Experience: Previous experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry will be considered an asset. At least 3 years in a leading position.</li><li>Skills:<ul><li>Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.</li><li>Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Softone, Entersoft etc).</li><li>Experience in USALI reporting will be considered an asset.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.</li><li>Good communication skills, with the ability to work with hotel management and staff.</li><li>Applicants must have the legal right to work in the European Union at the time of application.
