As a TC Freight Analyst, you will be responsible to ensure proper handling of all payments related to Time Charter and Owned Fleet vessels and more specifically to review and evaluate payables/receivables based on existing agreements, update and monitor Group’s software/applications with all necessary information and communicate accordingly with all relevant stakeholders, internal or external. This is a role requiring high degree of accountability and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review &amp; Process all relevant invoices regarding Time Charter and Owned Fleet Vessels</li><li>Review &amp; Negotiate of disputes (Off-hires / Underperformance Claims) arising under TCP in conjunction with Operations Department</li><li>Ensure all payables/receivables are monitored and followed up based on agreements</li><li>Manage and Complete Final Hire reconciliation statements</li><li>Process TC Relet out invoices</li><li>Manage the information entry and integrity across all software applications used by the division</li><li>Manage internal recharges/invoices for accounting purposes</li><li>Voyage results reporting</li><li>Comprehend &amp; Explain reason of variations from Estimates on TCE &amp; PnL</li><li>Report to Management</li></ul>Abilities, Experience and Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree Level education in Shipping or Economics</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office</li></ul>Technical knowledge to include:<ul><li>Understanding Shipping Terminology</li><li>Tanker operation fundamentals will be considered an asset</li></ul>Competencies:<ul><li>Excellent personal time management and prioritisation skills</li><li>Good written and verbal communication</li><li>Accountability</li><li>Diligent and thorough</li><li>A highly organised, detail-driven professional able to work in a high-pressured environment</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with other departments and as part of a team.</li></ul>Key Relationships and Department Overview:Key Relationships:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <ul><li>Operations department</li><li>Chartering department</li><li>Deals Desk/Risk Management department</li><li>Claims Department</li><li>Accounting Department</li><li>Brokers</li><li>Counterparties</li></ul>Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce!
