We are looking for a well-organized Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our growing team!<h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Leads the local Site Technicians team and manages site equipment</li><li>Supervises on-site civil/electro-mechanical works and measurements</li><li>Coordinates external contractors/subcontractors and maintains records of on-site works done by them at the waste management facilities</li><li>Monitors the operation and performance of the waste management construction sites, through monitoring systems</li><li>Ensures the implementation of the health and safety standards within the relevant facilities and substations, being in close cooperation with the QHSSE Expert</li><li>Monitors the spare parts inventory at the local warehouse and is accountable for replenishments and additional orders, as per need</li><li>Evaluates the civil studies and drawings of the project</li></ul><h2>Main Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Master’s degree will be considered an asset</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles at a construction site</li><li>Experience in working on public construction would be considered an asset</li><li>Knowledge in using remote monitoring systems</li><li>Familiarity with Health &amp; Safety standards</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal</li></ul><h2>Key skills/attributes</h2><ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize assignments as needed</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Critical thinking and proactivity</li><li>Accountability and advanced organization skill and detail-orientation</li><li>Team playing approach and ability to cooperate internal and external partners&nbsp;</li></ul>
