Post Fixture Assistant

Responsibilities:<ol><li>Reviews charter party contracts.</li><li>Reviews charter party contracts and ensures their accuracy.</li><li>Maintains accurate records of all charter agreements.</li><li>Provides updates to internal stakeholders regarding charter status and obligations.</li><li>Identifies potential contractual risks or disputes.</li><li>Ensures timely issuance and accuracy of charter party documentation.</li><li>Coordinates amendments or addenda as needed</li></ol>Qualifications / Experience:<ol><li>Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration or any other relevant field.</li><li>Strong negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal and contractual documents.</li><li>Excellent organization and time-management skills.</li><li>Efficient time management with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and consistently meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.</li></ol>

Charter Party Desk

Responsibilities:<ol><li>Performs day-to-day activities such as accounting entries, register and filing, bank and other general ledger accounts reconciliations.</li><li>Matches and reviews the accuracy of all vendors’ invoices in Company’s ERP system in order to assure their timely payment and control the Company’s cash flow.</li><li>Posts all relevant accounting entries under the correct expense categories in order to provide correct information to the Senior Accountants for the preparation of the financial statements.</li><li>Performs procedures related to the Greek Law N.89.</li><li>Performs bank reconciliation and ensures that cash amounts in accounting ledgers reconcile with actual bank balance.</li><li>Checks all invoices and custom regulations, so that the company is granted VAT exemption.</li><li>Maintains Greek accounting books and handles all tax issues.</li><li>Reviews revenue accounting entries based on their supporting documents, in order to ensure timely closing of accounts.</li><li>Posts all relevant accounting entries under the correct expense categories, so as to provide correct information to the Senior Accountants for the preparation of the financial statements.</li><li>Prepares, examines and settles vendors’ reconciliations assuring that vendors’ requests are met based on payment agreement and that no delays exist in the accounts payable process.</li><li>Prepares the final payment amounts and makes the respective entries of employees’ corporate credit cards assuring the implementation of Company’s “credit card policy”.</li></ol>Qualifications / Experience:<ol><li>Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum 2&nbsp;years of experience in various accounting areas (A/R, A/P, general entries, B / C category books).</li><li>Experience in the shipping industry will be considered an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of Navision will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literacy.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li></ol>

Accountant

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support SOX Compliance program to ensure that Company’s internal controls over financial reporting are effectively implemented. Main tasks of the program involve the evaluation of the existing controls’ effectiveness through testing procedures, identification and evaluation of audit findings and remediation follow-up. &nbsp;Assist in the preparation of SOX scoping, risk assessment and fraud risk assessment using quantitative and qualitative factors.</li><li>Participate in meetings with Company’s key personnel to gain understanding of Company’s processes and existing controls.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and provision of documentation related to process walkthroughs.</li><li>Assisting in execution of planned and ad-hoc internal audits projects through all phases of the audit (documentation review, fieldwork, recommendations and remediation follow-up).</li><li>Identify, document and communicate audit findings to the members of Internal Audit Department. Participate and assist in the preparation of presentations to the Company’s Audit Committee and Management.</li><li>Communicate with Company’s external auditors around SOX Compliance program, as well as any other Company’s independent auditor and/ or consultant.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant field.</li><li>Up to 4 years of experience in Big Four or in an internal audit / accounting/ finance department of a public shipping company.</li><li>Professional qualifications (e.g. CIA) and/ or postgraduate degree in accounting/ finance/ business administration related fields will be considered an asset.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and experience in internal audit, SOX will be considered an asset.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge in Accounting ERP systems (i.e. Navision) will be considered an asset.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel.</li><li>Fluency in English, both verbal and written.</li></ul>

Internal Auditor

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepares a gap analysis, then develops, implements and assesses training plans for the Company’s seafarers and office personnel related to vessel operations, as per the Company’s SMS.</li><li>Delivers training on the Company’s procedures and processes to all new hires.</li><li>Assesses the training outcome, confirming learners can apply the new knowledge or skills on their daily routine.</li><li>Ensures the training of Company’s trainers and monitors their effectiveness and performance.</li><li>Monitors training records and ensures compliance with maritime regulations (e.g., IMO, ISM Code).</li><li>Evaluates training effectiveness and identifies areas for improvement or new needs.</li><li>Prepares training material and stays up to date with industry best practices and regulations.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Naval Architecture or any relevant field.</li><li>Postgraduate studies in a relevant field will be considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position at a shipping company.</li><li>Certifications on relevant topics (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 9002, ISO 14001, Train the Trainer, etc).</li><li>Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.</li><li>Travel mobility.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills.</li></ul>

Marine Training Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications).</li><li>Monitors IT systems’ performance and ensures system availability and reliability.</li><li>Performs system and network updates/upgrades.</li><li>Maintains IT security and backup solutions.</li><li>Is responsible to ensure Master’s and Chief Engineer’s familiarization on company’s IT systems.</li><li>Travels on board for maintenance or troubleshooting reasons, whenever required.</li><li>Handles invoices’ checking, reconciliation, processing and filing for all vendors and technical / solution&nbsp;suppliers (office communications, vessels’ satellite and mobile communications, ICT equipment,&nbsp;procurement).</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any similar field.</li><li>Post-graduate studies in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.</li><li>Experience in shipping and knowledge of ships automation systems will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul>
