ACS Athens, a student-centered international school, embracing American educational philosophy, principles and values, is seeking to recruit a Professional Tennis Coach for the upcoming academic year 2026-2027, with the possibility of immediate hire. Situated in an exclusive environment at the ACS Athens campus, the Tennis Academy boasts a professional coaching team of six coaches dedicated to nurturing talent across all ages and skill levels. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in our Tennis Academies Competitive Program.&nbsp;Responsibilities:&nbsp;Conduct Tennis Lessons:<ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging tennis lessons tailored to the age and skill level of members.</li><li>Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their technique, footwork, and overall game.</li></ul>&nbsp;Develop Training Programs:<ul><li>Collaborate with the coaching team to design and implement comprehensive training programs for athletes participating in the academy's development and high-performance programs.</li><li>Monitor the progress of students and adjust training plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.</li></ul>&nbsp;Promote Sportsmanship and Character Development:<ul><li>Instill values of sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork among students, emphasizing the importance of fair play and positive attitudes on and off the court.</li><li>Serve as a mentor and role model for students, fostering their personal growth and character development through the sport of tennis.</li></ul>&nbsp;Assist with Academy Operations:<ul><li>Assist with organizing and coordinating tennis events, tournaments, and competitions hosted by the academy.</li><li>Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of tennis facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all players.</li><li>Active involvement in the tennis academies programs.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Physical Education (subject: tennis) or other certified tennis coaching degree.</li><li>Previous experience as a tennis instructor or coach, preferably in a school or academy setting.</li><li>Exellent command of the English language, both written and oral.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules and high level of playing tennis.</li><li>Passion for working with children and young athletes, with a commitment to their holistic development.</li><li>Strong sense of responsibility and professional reliability.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>&nbsp;Insurance:The selected candidate must be capable of operating as a freelancer&nbsp;and issuing service provision invoices.
