SCYTALYS&nbsp;is currently looking for a skilled&nbsp;Business Development Manager, passionate about their field of work.&nbsp;(Responsibilities) About the role / What you can expect:<ul><li>Generate and develop business opportunities for the domestic and international markets</li><li>Achieve annual sales targets</li><li>Present the company’s products, technologies and capabilities to customers, capture customer requirements and quality each opportunity per company strategy and objectives</li><li>Lead, monitor and contribute in proposal preparation and proposals and bid submission efforts, as part of an integrated Bid &amp; Proposal team</li><li>Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.</li><li>Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key account clients and end-users to accomplish company objectives</li><li>Identify areas to improve company products and services and communicate these to internal company stakeholders</li></ul>&nbsp;Candidate Profile:<ul><li>University degree, with a focus on Engineering or Information and Communications Technology</li><li>Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or an MBA will be considerate as an asset</li><li>Proven track record in delivering successful business outcomes and meeting sales quotas in the international marketplace, preferably in projects with high technological content</li><li>Experience and knowledge of the Defence sector will be considered as a strong additional asset</li><li>Solid experience in market research on an international level for the identification and qualification of business opportunities</li><li>Excellent oral and written command of the English language</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills and experience in developing and structuring commercial proposals</li><li>Self- driven and results - oriented</li><li>Customer centric mindset</li><li>Strong interpersonal and analytical skills</li><li>Strong networking and negotiation skills</li></ul>
