Air Defense Expert&nbsp;with deep expertise in&nbsp;C4I systems, command and control architectures, and defense systems evaluation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in drafting operational and technical requirements, system acceptance, and lifecycle support of air defense systems. Familiarity with European Defence Fund (EDF) mechanisms and collaborative EU/NATO projects is a strong asset.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the development, integration, and operational evaluation of&nbsp;Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I)&nbsp;systems specific to air defense environments.</li><li>Draft and validate&nbsp;operational and technical requirements&nbsp;for air defense platforms, sensors, weapons systems, and supporting C4I infrastructure.</li><li>Conduct&nbsp;technical evaluations, acceptance testing, and performance analysis&nbsp;of radars, launchers, effectors, tracking systems, and command &amp; control interfaces.</li><li>Provide subject matter expertise on air defense&nbsp;sensor fusion,&nbsp;weapons control, and&nbsp;fire control loop&nbsp;architecture.</li><li>Participate in system reviews, capability assessments, and integration workshops with multinational stakeholders.</li><li>Advise on interoperability standards (e.g., Link 16, STANAGs) and alignment with&nbsp;NATO and EU&nbsp;defense doctrines.</li><li>Engage in&nbsp;EDF-funded projects, contributing to proposal development, consortium coordination, and technical reporting.</li><li>Contribute to system-of-systems architecture development and&nbsp;mission-level simulations.</li><li>Support training and knowledge transfer for military personnel and technical staff.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior service in the Hellenic Air Force (HAF)&nbsp;with extensive operational experience in air defense and command &amp; control.</li><li>Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field will be an asset.</li><li>10+ years of hands-on experience in&nbsp;air defense operations and systems, with focus on&nbsp;C4I and command &amp; control environments.</li><li>Proven track record in drafting and managing&nbsp;requirements documentation, technical specs, and acceptance criteria.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of modern&nbsp;air and missile defense systems&nbsp;(e.g., GBAD, SHORAD, SAM, BMD platforms).</li><li>Experience working with&nbsp;trackers, data fusion engines, and weapons control systems.</li><li>Solid understanding of&nbsp;European Defence Fund (EDF)&nbsp;processes and EU capability development projects.</li><li>Familiarity with&nbsp;NATO defense standards, joint operations, and multinational system integration.</li><li>Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.</li><li>Eligible for national or NATO/EU security clearance.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Desirable Skills:<ul><li>Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.</li><li>Willingness to travel within the EU and to international partner sites.</li></ul>&nbsp;We offer:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package</li><li>Ticket vouchers</li><li>Private Medical Insurance package</li><li>Continuous learning in new technologies</li><li>Opportunity to work in large-scale projects with talented people</li></ul>

SCYTALYS&nbsp;is currently looking for a skilled&nbsp;Bid Manager, passionate about their field of work.&nbsp;(Responsibilities) About the role / What you can expect:<ul><li>Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, assessing their viability and alignment with the company's goals</li><li>Work closely with the Business&nbsp;Development, Engineering, and Program Management teams to understand client needs and expectations</li><li>Proposal preparation coordinator in terms of the preparation and submission of proposals/bids for RFIs, RFPs/RFQs, Tenders, public consultations</li><li>Prepare proposals and responses addressing RFIs, RFPs/RFQs, Tenders, public consultations</li><li>Prepare papers and presentations addressing calls from entities, authorities and organisations in Greece and abroad (EU, NATO, Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, Africa etc.)</li><li>Perform technology assessments, inform people concerned and use the outcome as a guide for proposing new paths</li><li>Support the development of new synergies and cooperations with the defense industry, academia and institutes</li><li>Assist to the development of technical documentation both prior and post contract award</li></ul>&nbsp;Required Skills:&nbsp;<ul><li>University Degree(s) in Engineering and/or Computing</li><li>Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or an MBA will be considerate as an asset</li><li>More than five (5) years of professional experience</li><li>Cumulative professional experience in more than one of the following areas: ICT, Security, and Defense, as a Small Medium Enterprise, consultant and/or technical presales engineer</li><li>Fluent in technical writing in English and Greek</li><li>Fluent in English, including technical terminology</li><li>Have a good knowledge of the domestic and international market in terms of programs, systems, products, companies, etc.,&nbsp;considering the aforementioned areas</li><li>Have a good knowledge of new technological trends, R&amp;D programs, synergies, etc., at domestic and international level</li><li>Problem-solving, Organizational &amp; Communication skills</li><li>Excellent project management and organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.</li></ul>
