In 2019, we established our first Shared Service Center (SSC) in Greece, with the goal of streamlining and optimizing financial operations for our entities across Europe. Today, the SSC plays a key role in our financial operations and has been recognized as a Great Place to Work, reflecting our commitment to quality, employee support, and a positive work environment.We are actively looking for accountants to join one of our R2R (Report to Report) teams consisting of Banking and Treasury, Fixed Assets, Intercompany and General Accounting.&nbsp; You will ensure accuracy and compliance of Group reporting with Group accounting policies under IFRS. As an SSC Accountant within our Process teams, you will play a key role in the delivering standardized, high quality, and timely financial services across the organization. Working within the General Ledger stream you will be responsible for executing end to end R2R activities including journal entries postings, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations,&nbsp; month end and year end activities and financial reporting for multiple business regions and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Accounts Payable Accountant

Reports To: the CAR Sub-cluster Manager, part of the Consolidation, Accounting &amp; Reporting team of GreeceResponsibilities and Duties<ul><li>Financial support &amp; reporting for a number of different functional areas within the business as well as analysis, understanding and challenging monthly results with managers.</li><li>Preparation of reports/analyses to enable Senior Managers to control their costs. Analysis to include both historical reporting against prior year and versus forecast and variance analyses/reconciliations, together with future performance/trending by way of forecasting and longer term planning.</li><li>Calculate and update standard costs / actual unit costs in ERP for inventory valuation</li><li>Produce and review Monthly Mine and Plant / Site cost reports with mine / site manager.</li><li>Provide support to Hub Controller with the budget and forecast process, as well as ad-hoc analysis and information.</li><li>Responsible for Inventory counts and fixed assets reconciliation with ERP.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.</li><li>University degree in Accounting or similar background.</li><li>Very good English.</li><li>SAP CO, FI Knowledge.</li><li>Knowledge of production process, logistics and supply chain.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Person Specification<ul><li>Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations.</li><li>Ability to handle complex financial information.</li><li>Ability to create strong bonds with other people, inspire trust and confidence in peers, seniors, and external partners.</li><li>Demonstrate good communication skills to convey information.</li><li>Have a keen eye for details, ability to manage multi tasks / projects and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong IT skills especially in Excel and Google suite packages.</li><li>Availability to travel to Milos Island regularly (estimated 30% in the first year).</li></ul>
