Working as part of a high-performing team, you’ll&nbsp;deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations to operationalize their sustainability strategy, as well as develop and implement robust action plans that will transform existing business models, within a&nbsp;variety of sectors&nbsp;including Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), Consumer Products &amp; Retail, Mining &amp; Metals, Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Utilities, Real Estate &amp; Construction, Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences / Pharma, Telco’s and Transportation.&nbsp;You will take part in demanding projects with regional and global reach, and you will:<ul><li>Assess clients’ sustainability roadmap and strategic initiative towards their operationalization and implementation</li><li>Develop innovative future state sustainability action plans, leveraging benchmarks and leading practices</li><li>Support the implementation of sustainability roadmaps based on technical assessment of best available practices and technologies</li><li>Collaborate with an extended eco-system of internal and external partners, and take advantage of EY’s alliances and owned digital assets and solutions</li><li>Contribute to EY’s Global Knowledge by improving existing assets and solutions, and by supporting the design and development of new ones</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills and attributes for success&nbsp;<ul><li>Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex tasks under tight deadlines</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team</li><li>Ability to develop presentations that are clear and impactful, translating EY services into meaningful valued propositions for clients</li><li>Strong analytical skills and conceptual attitude</li><li>Problem solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach</li><li>Building relationships with colleagues across service lines to provide seamless integrated service&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrating positive attitude, professionalism, teamwork competences, project management skills and high level of self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations</li><li>Using technology to continually enhance service delivery and improve our products and processes</li><li>Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness</li></ul>&nbsp;To qualify for the role, you must have&nbsp;<ul><li>Relevant experience in sustainability engagements with a proven track record of outstanding performance in one or more of the following areas:&nbsp;</li><li>Climate and decarbonization</li><li>Green Energy transition / Green Infrastructure and RES</li><li>Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Manufacturing</li><li>Circular Economy, Waste</li><li>Sustainable Products &amp; Services, Product Life Cycle</li><li>Sustainable Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Logistics / Procurement</li><li>Health &amp; Safety</li><li>Sustainable Finance</li><li>ESG Risk management in Financial Services as well as other sectors</li><li>Up to date knowledge on Global and EU regulatory developments for Sustainability</li><li>Ability and comfort in researching and resolving emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies</li><li>Excellent academic background including a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant Sustainability discipline, ranging from climate change and environmental studies to sustainable engineering disciplines or a variety of other academic backgrounds.</li><li>Advanced project management skills and proven experience in managing demanding projects</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English (both in relation to technical and non-technical issues)</li></ul>&nbsp;Ideally you will also have<ul><li>Proven experience in sustainability-related frameworks and standards (e.g. EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SBTi, TCFD, GRI, UN SDGs, SASB, TNFD, CDP, GHG protocol, GLEC, LCA-ISO14040/14067, ISO14001/EMAS, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, ISO50000, LEED / BREEAM / DGNB)</li><li>Knowledge of Sustainability technology platforms (e.g. SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Service Now)</li><li>Consulting experience in a large firm on Sustainability services</li><li>Flexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements</li></ul>&nbsp;What we look for&nbsp;What’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team. Experienced Sustainability Professional

You will identify appropriate modeling techniques to answer the most critical business questions and use your analysis to infer well substantiated business insights in support of your clients’ decision making. To do that, you will use clients’ in-house data as well as appropriate external data-sources.&nbsp;You will also resort to various data management and visualization techniques to provide insight into the data. Your portfolio of skills covers a wide range of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques for classification, prediction, recommendation, clustering, forecasting, as well as data management, data visualization, and optimization, applied in a commercial context.&nbsp;You will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and contribute to the development of a portfolio of business by focusing on high-impact opportunities. You will contribute to presentations of modeling results and project proposals. Bringing experience and unique insight on one or more industry, you will use your knowledge and experience to shape solutions to client problems.&nbsp;&nbsp;To qualify for the role you must have&nbsp;<ul><li>Excellent academic background, including at minimum a master degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus</li><li>2+ years of working or related research experience (evidenced by PhD and/or relevant publications, awards, or completed project credentials) preferably in a commercial/industrial context</li><li>Hands on development experience with R/Python or related statistical software package including programming skills in building and deploying machine learning models (supervised &amp; unsupervised, time series) and mathematical programming algorithms in supervised, unsupervised and semi-supervised learning techniques</li><li>Good understanding of machine learning, predictive modeling and optimization algorithms</li><li>Good understanding of data modeling and evaluation</li><li>Experience in designing, building, testing and validating highly customized statistical models using a large number of statistical and other quantitative techniques</li><li>Exposure with scalable big data based advanced analytics software will be considered</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences</li><li>Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries</li><li>Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad for international projects</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;What we look for&nbsp;What’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team.
