Job title: Lead Civil Engineer site supervision team.Job DescriptionOι υποχρεώσεις του Συμβούλου περιλαμβάνουν:<ul><li>Έλεγχος σχεδίων και κατασκευαστικών εργασιών αντικειμένου πολιτικού μηχανικού ώστε να διασφαλίσει ότι πληρούν τις προδιαγραφές σχεδιασμού</li><li>Επιβεβαίωση ότι οι κατασκευαστικές εργασίες ευθυγραμμίζονται με τις προδιαγραφές σχεδιασμού</li><li>Διενέργεια τακτικών επιθεωρήσεων στον χώρο για να διασφαλίζεται η συμμόρφωση με τις προδιαγραφές σχεδιασμού, τα βιομηχανικά πρότυπα και τους κανονισμούς ασφαλείας.</li><li>Έλεγχος των διαδικασιών ποιοτικού ελέγχου και διασφάλισης για τις δραστηριότητες των έργων πολιτικού μηχανικού.</li><li>Να γνωρίζει και εντοπίζει τα κατασκευαστικά ζητήματα, τις συγκρούσεις και τις ασυμφωνίες όπου αυτές προκύπτουν.</li><li>Να συνεργάζεται με την ομάδα του έργου για την ανάπτυξη λύσεων και περιορισμό των κινδύνων.</li><li>Να ελέγχει ότι οι εκτελούμενες εργασίες είναι σύμφωνες με το χρονοδιάγραμμα που έχει υποβάλει ο ανάδοχος.</li><li>Να εντοπίζει πιθανούς κινδύνους που σχετίζονται με τα έργα πολιτικού μηχανικού και τις σχετικές κατασκευαστικές δραστηριότητες.</li><li>Να αναπτύσσει στρατηγικές περιορισμού των κινδύνων και να τις προωθεί στον επιβλέποντα του έργου για εφαρμογή.</li><li>Να συνδράμει στην αξιολόγηση ως προς την πρόοδο των εργασιών, να επιβλέπει το πρόγραμμα πληρωμών, τις τροποποιήσεις εντολών και οικονομικές αξιώσεις του αναδόχου.</li><li>Να επανεξετάζει και να αξιολογεί τις αξιώσεις από εργολάβους και αναδόχους που σχετίζονται με τα έργα πολιτικού μηχανικού και να ενεργεί για την επίλυση διαφορών και αξιώσεων με δίκαιο και έγκυρο τρόπο.</li><li>Να ενημερώνεται για αλλαγές ως προς τους εφαρμοζομένους κανονισμούς και πρότυπα και να βεβαιώνει ότι το έργο συμμορφώνεται με όλους τους ισχύοντες νόμους και κανονισμούς.</li><li>Να εξετάζει τη λίστα των εγκεκριμένων εγγράφων και να εξασφαλίζει την ορθή εκτέλεση των τελικών για την κατασκευή εκδόσεων.</li><li>Να αξιολογεί με την ομάδα&nbsp;των μηχανικών τις ενημερώσεις και τις υπογραμμισμένες με κόκκινο υποσημειώσεις από τον ανάδοχο.</li><li>Να επανεξετάζει με την ομάδα μηχανικών και να ενημερώνει την διεύθυνση του Έργου για αναφορές μη συμμορφώσεως με τα πρότυπα.</li><li>Να διευκολύνει την αποτελεσματική επικοινωνία και το συντονισμό μεταξύ του αναδόχου, της ομάδας μηχανικών και του διαχειριστή του Έργου</li><li>Να εποπτεύει τις διαδικασίες ολοκληρώσεως του έργου, διασφαλίζοντας ότι όλα τα έγγραφα, οι λίστες ελλείψεων και οι τελικοί έλεγχοι έχουν ολοκληρωθεί ικανοποιητικά.&nbsp;Να διευκολύνει την ομαλή παράδοση του έργου στον ιδιοκτήτη.</li></ul>&nbsp;AFRY is seeking a qualified and experienced&nbsp;Lead Civil Engineer to join the Owner's Engineer site supervision team.The Lead Civil Engineer in an Owner's Engineer assignment is instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of the civil aspects of a power plant project. Her/his expertise, attention to detail, and proactive approach are crucial in delivering a high-quality, safe, and compliant facility.Responsibilities/Duties (inclusive of but not limited to):<ul><li>Review civil engineering designs and plans, method statements, ITPS, materials and construction procedures to ensure they meet project requirements and local building codes.</li><li>Verify that the construction work aligns with approved design specifications.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.</li><li>Oversee and manage quality control and assurance procedures for civil construction activities.</li><li>Identify and address construction issues, conflicts, and discrepancies as they arise. Collaborate with the project team to develop solutions and mitigate risks.</li><li>Ensure that civil construction activities are executed in accordance with the project schedule. Identify and address delays or potential schedule risks.</li><li>Identify potential risks related to civil engineering and construction activities.&nbsp;Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.</li><li>Assist in the evaluation of site progress, including reviewing progress payments, change orders, and claims.</li><li>Review and assess claims from contractors related to civil engineering aspects.&nbsp;Work to resolve disputes and claims in a fair and timely manner.</li><li>Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards, ensure that the project complies with all applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Review the list of approved documents and ensure the proper execution of the final 'For Construction' versions.</li><li>Evaluate site updates and red marked documents by the contractor, collaborate with the engineering team, and assess the site's as-built documents.</li><li>Review and address any Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure compliance and quality standards are met with engineering team coordination.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication and coordination among the contractor, engineering team, and the site manager.</li><li>Oversee the civil aspects of project closeout, ensuring that all documentation, punch list items, and final inspections are completed satisfactorily. Facilitate the smooth handover of the project to the Owner.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field. Lead Civil Engineer - Site supervision team

The Site Manager in an Owner's Engineer assignment is instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of AFRY’s services. Their primary purpose is to manage the day-to-day operations on the project site, monitor progress, and collaborate with the EPC contractor to deliver a successful project outcome.&nbsp;Responsibilities/Duties (inclusive of but not limited to):&nbsp;<ul><li>Take overall responsibility for the successful execution of the site supervision works. Ensure that project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.</li><li>Receive and implement instructions and cooperate in all activities with AFRY teams in accordance with the instructions of the Project Manager and AFRY Home Office. Be single point of contact for the site activities to the Project Manager and to the Engineering Manager for support.</li><li>Be single point of contact to Client’s Site Manager and Contractor’s Site Manager</li><li>Review the Contractor’s Project Management Documentation, such as Project Progress Measurement Procedure, Contractor’s Work and Quality Control Procedures, Master Time Schedule.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence of the project procedures, technical and administrative, issued by the Home Office and the Project Manager. In case of difficulties in application of such instructions, the Project Manager shall be consulted before any other actions are being taken.</li><li>Manage and coordinate AFRY’s site team and site activities, during the construction, installation, testing and commissioning phases. Monitor progress and address any issues promptly.</li><li>Collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that all site personnel follow safety protocols, and that safety performance meets or exceeds established benchmarks.</li><li>Strive for high level of safety awareness on Site and suggest supportive campaigns to Client and Contractor</li><li>Ensure that the EPC contractor adheres to the terms and conditions of the contract, including project specifications, scope, and deliverables.</li><li>Monitor project budgets and expenditures. Evaluate the site progress, including reviewing progress payments, change orders, and claims.</li><li>Participate in Management Review meeting and overlook periodical AUDITS (as per ISO 9001: 2008) on Site.</li><li>Organize and lead daily, weekly and monthly meeting and prepare the relevant minutes of meeting or reports.</li><li>Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards, ensure that the project complies with all applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Oversee all aspects of project closeout, ensuring that all documentation, punch list items, as-built documents and final inspections are completed satisfactorily. Facilitate the smooth handover of the project to the owner.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
