The successful candidate will provide design, implementation and support services for OTE/ICT IT Network utilizing IP networking/security technologies.&nbsp;Duties &amp; responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implementation &amp; support of network systems for OTE corporate network as well as for ICT customers. (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center).</li><li>Solves hardware / software / configuration problems of network equipment in order to seamless and efficient interconnection of business applications.</li><li>Configures network equipment and designs / implements security mechanisms aimed at the smooth operation of information systems and harmonization with corporate security policy.</li><li>Participates in IT projects for the implementation of new information systems in order to ensure the best network communication between them.</li><li>Designs network topologies and architectures in order to optimally interconnect information systems and ensure the quality of IT services provided.</li><li>Evaluates technical proposals for the supply of network equipment and services in order to ensure that the technical requirements are met and the selection of the optimal solution.</li><li>Collaborates with teams of infrastructure, software development and systems operation on application issues in order to optimize the quality of IT services provided.</li></ul>&nbsp;Required Skills<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field</li><li>Very good knowledge in management and configuration of Cisco network equipment</li><li>Good knowledge in network security solutions (firewalls, IDS / IPS, WAF) of various vendors (eg Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet)</li><li>Good knowledge in using NAC solutions (eg Cisco ISE), load balancing, DNS, proxy, IPSec VPN, WLAN, NMS tools</li><li>Very good knowledge of the English language (Β2 Lower)</li><li>2-3 years of experience in a similar position</li></ul>&nbsp;Preferred Skills<ul><li>Basic knowledge in managing platform virtualization (VMware vSphere), operating systems (Windows, Linux), shell scripting using Bash, Python</li><li>Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure)</li><li>Interest in following new technological trends and objects</li><li>Ability to manage complex projects and resolve complex issues</li><li>Ability to take initiatives</li></ul>

Data Network Engineer

As a Documentation Engineer, you will play an integral role in the implementation of fiber optics projects and ensure high-quality results in the documentation of the required technical plans.How you will contribute to our success:<ul><li>Complete day to day network tasks according to the project timelines and required deliverables;</li><li>Prepare “As Built” Documentation and BOMs (Bill of Materials);</li><li>Review Design engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions;</li><li>Perform overall quality control of the work (plans) and report to the PM regularly on project status;</li><li>Prepare the blueprints to be submitted maintain a frequent contact with the respective authorities;</li><li>Design technical plans required by local authorities;</li><li>Collect necessary paperwork for the issuance of necessary permits and submit it to competent authorities;</li></ul>To be a fit you will need:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or another related technical field;</li><li>2 years of previous experience in telecommunication industry;</li><li>Excellent knowledge of QGIS/ArcGIS;</li><li>Good knowledge of AutoCAD or other similar design and visualization software;</li><li>Advanced MS Office skills;</li><li>Excellent command of the English language;</li><li>Flexible to think quickly and resolve design issues with robust decision-making;</li><li>Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.</li></ul>Ideally you shall also have:<ul><li>Previous working experience in FTTx projects;</li><li>German language (current level B2);</li></ul>What we offer:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package;</li><li>Private Health Insurance;</li><li>Flexible remote working;</li><li>Active participation in exciting and challenging projects that shape the infrastructure of the future;</li><li>Opportunities to develop new skills and progress your career through theoretical and on the job training;</li><li>Other corporate benefits.</li></ul>Phoenix Engineering is an equal opportunity employer.
