Research Economist

Additionally, you should be committed to the achievement of the team’s and organization’s goals. &nbsp;What you will be doing&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead the financial reporting team of the Bank and Holding Companies, in terms of financial statements.</li><li>Review the accounting entries and prepare the Bank’s Annual Financial Statements, ensuring strong level of control is maintained.</li><li>Authorize Bank account reconciliations, to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and there are no discrepancies.</li><li>Check updates on Bank's general ledger, recording all financial transactions and ensuring they are correctly categorized and posted.</li><li>Run the analyses on financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas of concern and provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on the analysis of financial statements.</li><li>Cooperate effectively with the Statutory Auditors on matters arising during the audit process for the Bank's Financial Statements.</li><li>Cultivate a high-performance team, by inspiring the team while fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion.</li></ul> &nbsp;What you need to have&nbsp;<ul><li>	A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or in any other related field.</li><li>	A Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics or in any other relevant field is preferred.</li><li>	At least seven (7) years relevant experience in Financial, Regulatory or Risk Reporting or in Audit related services.</li><li>	A professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) will be considered an asset.</li><li>	Strong leadership and organisational skills.</li><li>	Outstanding communication and reporting skills.</li><li>	Excellent use of MS Office.</li><li>	Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).</li></ul>&nbsp;What we offer&nbsp;It’s all about our people.
