As a Technology Senior Buyer you will be joining the Sourcing Domain of Alpha Bank Central Procurement Management and Outsourcing Division. Corporate Center Senior Buyer

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of the Payment Service Provider (PSP) industry and financial crime compliance (FCC).Balancing high-level operational execution with strategic coordination, the AMLCO provides AML-CFT and sanctions regulatory expertise to all three lines of defense (1LOD, 2LOD, and 3LOD) and supports broader business and operational functions.&nbsp;Day-to-Day Responsibilities​&nbsp;<ul><li>Advisory &amp; Compliance Support: Provide expert guidance on AML-CFT compliance across all levels of defense and business operations, assisting with day-to-day activities when required.</li><li>Regulatory Monitoring &amp; Analysis: Track FCC regulatory developments, assess their impact, and support implementation.</li><li>Policy Implementation &amp; Oversight: Ensure compliance with AML-CFT regulations by coordinating activities through regular and ad hoc meetings. Strengthen the FCC framework and ensure consistent policy enforcement.</li><li>Risk Management &amp; Assessments: Lead AML-CFT risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential financial crime risks associated with the organization’s activities, customers, and services.</li><li>Escalations &amp; Incident Handling: Manage escalations and regulatory inquiries, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication with the Group CFCCO.</li><li>Audit &amp; Testing: Monitor and test the effectiveness of the FCC program, collaborate on audits, and address identified findings.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Documentation: Maintain accurate records of AML-CFT activities, preparing reports for senior management and the Board as required.</li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Group FCC Data Officer on risk management and reporting, ensuring robust governance and oversight.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Who Are We Looking For&nbsp;We look for big thinkers. In practice this means:&nbsp;<ul><li>Proven experience in the payment services sector, with a strong understanding of industry regulations.</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in the financial sector, with at least 3+ years in an AML or FCC advisory role (e.g., AML Officer, AML Regulatory Advisor).</li><li>In-depth knowledge of EU AML regulations, sanctions regimes, and global compliance frameworks; expertise in external fraud and financial crime compliance is a plus.</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in AML, terrorist financing (TF), and sanctions compliance.</li><li>Experience in regulatory engagement</li><li>Recognized FCC certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent).</li><li>Strong ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and influence key stakeholders.</li><li>Experience in people management is an advantage.</li><li>Very Fluent English Speaker.
