You will support the inhouse legal counsel of a large educational institution in providing legal advice, policy guidance, and compliance support across administrative and academic departments.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in the drafting, review, and preparation of internal legal documents, institutional policies, and correspondence</li><li>Conduct legal research on education law, administrative law, labor law, data protection (GDPR), family law, and related areas</li><li>Support the head lawyer in responding to institutional and regulatory inquiries</li><li>Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to nonprofit education providers</li><li>Assist in supervising legal interns and contribute to the coordination of their work</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the College</li><li>Maintain accurate records, support legal filing, and ensure confidentiality</li><li>Perform any other duties as assigned by the responsible lawyer/supervisor.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Law from a Greek university</li><li>Eligible to commence the formal 18-month legal traineeship (άσκηση) or currently in training with at least 6 months remaining</li><li>Strong interest in education law, public law, family law, and policy-making for nonprofit institutions</li><li>Excellent legal drafting and research skills in both Greek and English</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>High ethical standards, discretion, and a strong sense of professionalism</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Nomos, Sakkoulas, e-law) is desirable</li></ul>Application Deadline:&nbsp;April 30, 2025Anticipated Start Date:&nbsp;June 2025Application Instructions:&nbsp;Applicants should complete the online application and include the following materials:<ul><li>A cover letter in English</li><li>A current CV in English</li><li>Contact information (name, e-mail address, telephone number) for at least three persons who can provide a professional reference.</li></ul>
