The School of Liberal Arts &amp; Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece is inviting applications for the position of Director for the newly approved&nbsp;Master’s program in Translational Biomedicine and Entrepreneurship. The Director will collaborate closely with two independent consultants and the Chair of the Health Sciences and Research Advisory Board.Biomedical Sciences ProgramRequired Qualifications:<ul><li>MD and/or PhD in a biomedical field, with expertise in pathophysiology, pharmacology, translational science, or biomedical engineering.</li><li>At least one degree from a US or UK accredited institution.</li><li>Proven teaching experience, preferably in US, Canadian, or UK higher education.</li><li>Strong research background relevant to the program’s disciplines.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English.</li><li>Strong theoretical knowledge; clinical experience will be considered a plus.</li></ul>General Skills:<ul><li>Commitment to student-centered learning.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li></ul>Application Deadline:&nbsp;December 1, 2024Anticipated Start Date:&nbsp;February 1, 2025Application Instructions:&nbsp;Applicants should complete the online application and include the following materials:<ul><li>A cover letter describing previous related experience and scholarly interests.</li><li>A current CV.</li><li>Contact details (name, e-mail address, telephone number) of at least three persons who have known you in a professional context).</li></ul>
